It’s so easy to focus on what’s fleeting. Sometimes I question why things change and why people leave. To be truthfully honest, there have been moments when I’ve felt so grieved by the ever-changing flow of life around me. But then I found rest. I found rest within the glorious Words of the One who created me and knitted me in my mother’s womb. I found rest in the Scriptures that teach such wisdom to my heart. I found rest in knowing that the holy and righteous God I serve is unchanging, He remains when everything else is constantly shifting. God and His Word are steadfast and true— a true rock to stand firm upon.
