Permanent Jewelry - A *NEW* addition to our store!

Hi fellow Oakies! 

We are SO excited to bring you Sarnia-Lambton's FIRST permanent jewelry service! We have had the experience done on our trips to Indiana and Texas, as well as in London, in the last few months and fell in love with the experience so much, that we wanted to share it with our local community!

So, we have had MANY questions, and here are just some of the answers, with more information and booking times coming within the next TWO weeks :). 

What does "permanent jewelry" mean?

We will cold weld on a custom fit bracelet (or anklet or ring) to your wrist using a painless, quick and easy process. Because the bracelet is welded on, it does not have a clasp and therefore will "permanently" stay on (until you decide to remove it or it comes off with time).

Can I remove the bracelet, if I want?

Should you want to remove your permanent bracelet, they can easily be snipped off with a common pair of household scissors.

How long will my bracelet last?

Weeks, months, years. This is dependent solely on the type of permanent jewelry chain, your lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent bracelet breaks or stretches, we will do our best to repair it, for a small fee.

Does it hurt?

No, not at all! It's completely safe and painless. Why get inked, when you can get "linked" ;).

What bracelet options do you have? and what's the pricing?

Currently (to start, our collection will grow in time), you can choose from sterling silver bracelets or 14kt. gold filled (base metal core – thick gold plating), ranging from $55 and up.

Will it tarnish or turn?

No, our sterling silver and gold filled chain stay beautiful! You can wear them in the shower, to the beach, and to the gym and they will stay bright and beautiful. AND, we can attest to that - all of our's we personally received on our trips are still as good as new!

Can it get wet?

Yes! It's fine to wear in chlorine/bromine, salt water and just in the shower. However, chlorinated hot tubs have tarnished sterling silver, but not bromine. 

Does my bracelet need to come off for an MRI?

The most accurate answer is likely, yes. In the case that your bracelet or anklet needs to be removed for medical reasons, we offer a complementary re-weld (free of charge).

Can you take your permanent jewelry through airport security?

Yes! TSA will not ask you to remove it when going through security. We have not heard of any issues going through security.

Do you do private events? like pop-ups, vendor shows, etc.

Do you do in-home parties?

Because we have a storefront that we pay to be in, it works best for us to have selected evenings and day time appointments available, until further notice. However, you can book you and your party (as many as you want) to come to our store, where we hope to offer beverages, good eats and of course "home decor shopping".  Bring your besties, daughters or bridal party for a fun night out!

Do I need to make an appointment or can I just show up at an event?

 Some more things to note:

- Choosing your chain takes the longest time, welding it on is quick. One appointment is about 15-20 minutes max.

- Anyone under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian present.

- All sales will be final.
